If you love all things Charles Rennie Mackintosh, you will absolutely adore this wonderful house and contents. It’s hard for me to add much that you can’t see from my photos but I can also tell you the welcome we received was so warm and friendly and made us enjoy it all the more. So many museums start their words to visitors with all the don’ts but here they said ‘feel free to sit on the furniture, touch things and even play the piano if you can and would like to!’ - I can and I did Bellahouston Park has a lot to offer and this house and gardens are a must. Enjoy!

Great food and service. Staff friendly and helpful. House and grounds are a wonderful place to wander

On behalf of my family, friends and my 90 year-old mum, I would like to say a huge 'Thank You' to all the staff at HAL for making mum's milestone birthday such a fabulous event. From the events team to our unflappable manager on the day, Maria, and her staff, everyone was very professional, courteous and helpful. Our room, The View, was beautifully laid out and the lounge and balcony gave us two further areas to mingle. The food was delicious, especially the lemon posset - guests were all but licking the glasses! Nothing was too much trouble from moving furniture to accommodate a balloon display to serving teas and coffees from a station (as our guests had decided to move about ahead of time!). Maria managed and steered it all without the bat of an eyelid. We had a wonderful day full of gorgeous moments and memories. Thank you!

Beautiful place and lovely cafe. Wheelchair accessible.

Breakfast was really good. Friendly and attentive staff. We used the ItIsOn Voucher at 18.6 for a breakfast for 2 with tour. Really worth it. The shop sells cute cards and souvenirs as well.Lucky there were not much crowd when we visited on a Thursday morning.

You're in for a treat with a delightful evening of magic and a fantastic three-course vegetarian meal! Here's a review emphasizing the excellent service: An Enchanting Evening: Superb Service and a Delicious Vegetarian Feast! What a truly magical evening! From the moment we arrived, the experience was absolutely enchanting, not just because of the captivating magician but also thanks to the impeccable service and delicious vegetarian meal. The catering company truly outdid themselves. Each of the three vegetarian courses was a culinary delight, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. It's clear a lot of care went into crafting a menu that was both satisfying and flavorful, proving that vegetarian dining can be incredibly exciting. Every dish hit the mark, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Beyond the food, the welcome we received was incredibly warm and inviting. The team greeting everyone set a wonderful tone for the night. Their genuine smiles and helpfulness made us feel instantly comfortable and valued. Throughout the evening, the catering staff were attentive, efficient, and exceptionally friendly, ensuring drinks were topped up and every need was met without ever being intrusive. It felt like they genuinely wanted everyone to have a fantastic time, and that personal touch made all the difference. Combined with the dazzling magic show, which was a spectacle of wonder and skill, this was an evening of pure enjoyment. The seamless coordination between the entertainment and the outstanding catering truly made for a memorable event. If you're looking for an evening filled with great food, fantastic service, and a touch of magic, I highly recommend this experience! Also this was all for 45. Value for money. I would have paid 65 for this. Truly amazing! Ps thank you, Kate, for sorting out my Vegetarian request.

The best day of our lives. Lauren, Kate, Amanda and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and the day went perfectly. Great location as the ceremony, meal and evening entertainment are all in separate areas of the building. The grounds are stunning. This is the best wedding venue in Glasgow

Excellent experience here, helped us understand these 2 artists and their work and why they are so highly thought of in Scotland. Cafe and surrounding garden also good. Highly recommended. We used a public bus to get here from city Centre which was cheap, easy and fast.
